Private Training JAA, PPL(A), NPPL

Private Training

Obtaining your JAA PPL(A) at The Flight Centre

Part-time route

At The Flight Centre our qualified and friendly instructors will take you through the full course at a comfortable pace. We have a large fleet of training aircraft consisting of new technology Thielert Piper Warriors, 1 Piper Arrow, 1 Piper Lance and a DA42 Twinstar.

During your course you will need to fly a minimum of 45 hours of which 25 hours must be with an instructor (dual) and 10 hours must be on your own (solo). Lessons typically follow the pattern of a ground briefing with your instructor, an hour of instructional flight in the aircraft, followed by a de-briefing session.

Intensive Route

Whether you are aiming for an airline career and need to avoid the lengthy training process of some other schools, or simply wish to keep the cost to a minimum, then this is for you.

The flight training is normally conducted on a one-to-one basis 9am-5pm, 5 days a week. This will greatly reduce the time taken to achieve the course objective in the legal minimum of 45 hours. The course will be conducted on one of our PA28 Warriors.
