What is the MCC?
As from l July 1999, as part of European aviation harmonisation, Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) regulations have required that an MCC Course be completed prior to the first multi-crew type being endorsed on the licence. The MCC Course is, in effect, a merger of the former Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) courses which many airlines operated prior to the new JAA legislation.
Halfpenny Green Flying Centre offers the MCC course in a state-of-the-art Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT2). We use Standard Operating Procedures which are closely based upon those of typical short haul jet airlines, with checklists, flight plans, performance manuals which are all typical of those that you will find "on the line". Our instructors have many years of experience in this field and are all dedicated to giving you the most realistic and informative MCC experience possible.
The pre-entry requirements for the MCC:
-
Be the holder of an ICAO IR (A).
In addition to the MCC, we can provide pre-selection simulator training to help prepare you for that all important check ride with a potential employer. Brush up training is also available and can be conducted before or after the MCC course. Please call or email for details.
